Think windswept beaches, bare feet on cool sand, and washed up bottles as wedding favours. Ask us to pitch and style one of our vintage look wedding marquees at Down End in Croyde (Pictured above) and create the beautiful, laid-back wedding of your dreams. When it comes to the colour palette, you’ll want washed out whites and rustic browns with a hint of the palest blue and sea-foam green, with organic and earthy accessories. Contact us for details of how to hire this venue.
Rustic Romance by the Sea
The stunning location of Lime Kiln Field (above) overlooks beautiful Croyde Bay – and the field literally drops into the ocean, with breathtaking views across to Baggy Point. Pitch one of our stunning marquees with beautiful top hats for detail, and for additional space create chill out areas, bars or a reception – all beautifully styled of course, perhaps with vintage rustic trestles, plus a gourmet barbecue and flagons of local ales & cider (see our items to hire). Add haybales to sit on to watch the sun go down, then kick back whilst sipping your sundowner and mellow to the melodic sounds of an acoustic guitar. The field is available to hire from 3 days – contact us for details.

The Cool Colourful Wedding
Beautiful Black Cloud Hill (above) – a unique and stunning location, set high overlooking Woolacombe Sands, and beyond to Putsborough Beach and Morte point. Add a festival vibe to your marquee wedding and make it a colour pop carnival; think flip flops and festival flags, wild flowers and wellington boots, colourful bunting and paper lanterns. Just add a hog roast and haybales, Pimms in jam jars, festoons … and fireworks of course. Black Could Hill is available to hire from 3 days – contact us for details.

The Nautical Inspired Bride
The historical fishing village of Clovelly is the perfect setting for a nautical inspired wedding. The Great Terrace of Clovelly Court (above), the ancestral home of the owners of Clovelly, offers a breathtaking spot for our Blue Fizz marquee with views across Bideford Bay and Lundy Island and the Norman church of All Saints is just short stroll away. For a nautical theme, think crisp clean white decor set against navy stripes, natural wood and hessian: a gorgeous mix of rustic elegance with shabby chic. Just add fabulous fresh fish and chips, luxury seafood hampers and freshly chilled fizz, then dance the night away to swing and jazz on the lawn as the sun goes down. Contact us for details.

The Vintage Chic Beachside Wedding
For the ultimate in vintage chic how about a marquee wedding within the grounds of Hartland Abbey, a stunning, privately-owned home built in the 12th century. With breathtaking views from the spectacular gardens and grounds leading to remote Atlantic Cove – this surely is one of the most romantic destinations. Think timeless beauty, gentle sophistication and age-old customs – a vintage Rolls, top hat and tails, champagne and strawberries, English fare, ivory satin & vintage roses. Contact us for details.
